1066 About that Horse

sold Around day 1018, I discovered that I - I mean Brie - wanted a miniature horse. Naturally, I forgot all about the horse by day 1019. But today while attending an inspiring and informative talk by illustrator, James Gurney, I learned many new things. One of which, was that I - I mean Brie - definitely still should have a miniature horse. Gurney has one in his neighborhood and it has provided him hours (read minutes, I guess they don't stay still very long) of delightful painting subject matter. Horse life, 4x4", acrylic

#1057 Yardment

It's that time of year again when the yard provides all sorts of painting entertainment. This was plucked from the front yard. It's also that time of year when I play upon Duane Keiser's thousand small paintings, called 'Oddments,' except mine are Yardments. And in case you were wondering Brie, the dog, is also an art collector and waiting on her own Oddment, #308 by Keiser. He's on painting Oddment #287, not much longer now. Brie hopes it's a painting of a dog bone, I hope it's not a painting of a bug. yard life, 6x6" acrylic $100 click here to purchase

#1049 Bounce

sold Day Trippers; The GJWP Challenge group's monthly meeting was held at Kelley MacDonald's studio in RI yesterday. Not only is Kelley a fabulous painter, but also a great host. I don't know how she does all those paintings and still has time to make quiche crust from scratch.
