Other News: Three of my daily paintings are on exhibit at the Monroe C. Gutman Library, Harvard Graduate School of Education, 6 Appian Way, Cambridge, MA as part of a group show.

Those satisfying planes of colour on fruit and objects like the wonderful sugar bowl of Nr250 indicate skilled handling of a rather large flat brush -- even at times a knife? I've been tyranized recently by my miniscule Nr2, getting more and more exacting and fiddly. You come as a welcome influence -- in addition to the pleasure!

Thank you everyone - Alan, I wish I could use a palette knife, another technique that I like when other people use it, but not so much me - I keep meaning to try it again - I learned over the summer that palette knifes are all different depending on the maker, I feel like maybe I just haven't found one I like? I do love and use flat brushes though -
